In 2015, Pittsburgh City Council declared February 17th to be known as "LLZ Day."  Lambda Lambda Zeta receive a proclamation from Pittsburgh City Council and was recognized by the US Congress for their dedication and commitment to service to Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

To date, LLZ Sorors continue to be "Friends to Man" through a continueed commitment to service, and a dedication to honoring the legacy our Pearls began in 1920
